We would like to thank our newest Signers - Timothy Richardson, Stanton Bell, Steven Kershaw, and Heather Thornton!

There are nearly one million people in jail in the United States for non-violent activities related to the use, possession, cultivation, transportation or sale of marijuana. The purpose of this site is to make available a place for everyone who supports the idea of Nojailforpot to sign his or her name, and make it proudly public for everyone to see. The people below have taken the significant step of putting their names to this important declaration, for all the country to see.

i think marijuana should be legalized for the simple fact that it is a non stimulant, herbal drug that eases the mind. Also it does more good than bad, look at medical research they are finding more and more things to perscribe legal marijuana usage for cures and pain killers. For any true toker ya know it is good to ease the mind!!! Plus i am tired of putting my hard earned tax dollars to put people who get busted in jail. If the man wanted it off the streets so bad he should put it in stores so then it could really be a called a controlled substance. But he dont want to cause he is making alot of money putting innocent herbal drug users behind bars.I think it is all bs....

legalize the weed, get it off the streets and on the shelves where it belongs, its easier for kids to get weed than alcohol, just ask them. its the only way to control it. but the man wants it illegal so he can keep makin money off of their deals, they call it a controlled substance, BUT IS IT? SAVE OUR CHILDREN AND AMERICA FROM THIS SILENT WAR WHICH CAN NEVER BE WON, GOD BLESS AMERICA

To each his own. Just don't step on my toes. If people think they need it then I say let them have it. That's what everyones problem is, they are too worried about what everyone else is doing and not focusing on what they are doing or what they should be doing.
