We would like to thank our newest Signers - Timothy Richardson, Stanton Bell, Steven Kershaw, and Heather Thornton!

There are nearly one million people in jail in the United States for non-violent activities related to the use, possession, cultivation, transportation or sale of marijuana. The purpose of this site is to make available a place for everyone who supports the idea of Nojailforpot to sign his or her name, and make it proudly public for everyone to see. The people below have taken the significant step of putting their names to this important declaration, for all the country to see.

Thank god some one's putting good effort into this action. I completely disagree with our government's abuse power. Pretty soon alcohol will be banned, too. Rights to the people!

It is a very sad injustice to the entire human race for any person to be incarcerated for doing something they want to do that doesn't harm anyone. Marijuana is an innocent, natural plant, unlike many things that ARE legal. Our lawmakers should be ashamed. This is a disgrace. Where is our freedom? It scares me to think where our country is heading. Our leaders don't have the guts to think for themselves. It is a well known fact that people fear what they don't understand. They are too money hungry and stubborn to open their eyes or step out and stand up for something so ridiculously innocent as marijuana. I am ashamed of our leaders. (I'd say government, but a government is by the people and for the people.) We have a big problem. I must say again, it is SO sad.
