Notable People News Wire
We would like to thank our newest Signers - Timothy Richardson, Stanton Bell, Steven Kershaw, and Heather Thornton!

There are nearly one million people in jail in the United States for non-violent activities related to the use, possession, cultivation, transportation or sale of marijuana. The purpose of this site is to make available a place for everyone who supports the idea of Nojailforpot to sign his or her name, and make it proudly public for everyone to see. The people below have taken the significant step of putting their names to this important declaration, for all the country to see.

in my opinion alcohol and man made drugs are corrupting our society not pot. pot was given to us by mother nature to express ourselves and also for medical purposes. it is time for us to take back our freedom of choice and to fight to limit the governments control. we need to see that they are using pot as a means of fatting paychecks. together we can win this. so to all you weed smokers...keep on smoking!

Even if they don't make it completely legal, they should make it avaliable to the people who need it for the sicknesses....

i think that marijuana should indeed be legal, not just because i smoke it, but because it is relatively harmless, i dont see why that if beer and other alcohal is legal, then why shouldnt herb be?? when faced with the real facts, the government should legalize it, and make space in the jails for the real criminals, if for no other reason.

The drug laws have transformed "The Land of the Free" into "The People's Republic of Fukovaya"

I think that Marijuana should be legalized because it is the only drug that is near impossible to overdose on. All the drugs that you can Overdose on should stay illegal with penalties.
