Notable People News Wire
We would like to thank our newest Signers - Timothy Richardson, Stanton Bell, Steven Kershaw, and Heather Thornton!

There are nearly one million people in jail in the United States for non-violent activities related to the use, possession, cultivation, transportation or sale of marijuana. The purpose of this site is to make available a place for everyone who supports the idea of Nojailforpot to sign his or her name, and make it proudly public for everyone to see. The people below have taken the significant step of putting their names to this important declaration, for all the country to see.

Drugs should be 100% legal. Period. Only way that makes any sense! :)

I do not understand why people want to hurt people, it is just not worth the cost.

My main concern is not only the the fact that we arrest over 700,000 persons for marijuana "ofenses" (and 88% for possesion), but on how we educate people about that as well. One way is to give the stats, which you folks do quite well; another is spreading politcal ideology (such as "inappropiate use of government into our privite lives" and "causes no harm to society", etc.), which you also do well. But what I have found that really gets people is putting faces on the issue (such as sharing pictures of POW's and their families) and leading by example (hemp tee-shirts, rather than environmentally damaging and unstainable cotton tee-shirts), neither of which "nojailforpot" is engaged in. Just a little constructive critism; otherwise, keep up the good work. Sincerely, Aaron Neumann N.O.R.M.L. MN -Chair-

Marijuana does not a criminal make.

I think that there should be a leagal limit on how much you can have if you are going to drive or things like that. Something like alcohol laws so we can keep it under control. And i also think that if you use pot it is nothing big unless you use it irresponsible.
