I am very much against the hypocricy with anti-marijuana laws.I signed and passed out petitions in Michigan in support of the Personal Responsibilty Amendment which would have legalized pot for medicinal use.I ran as the Libertarian Party candidate for state rep 90th Dist. and without advertising got 640 votes.I plan on being active and running for school board and hope to bring an end to the DARE program in our government schools. The Libertarian Party is the largest ally to the legalize pot(or other consensual drug use)and we are currently looking for more members and supporters so we can beat the hypocricy that exists in Washington today. I don't use Marijuana, nor have I ever, nor shall I ever (at least I don't think so), but I do feel very strongly that it should be legalized, not just for a specific "purpose," but legalized completely. I don't enjoy paying taxes to criminalize this "drug" which is really nothing more than an herb, in my opinion. I also don't like the thought that there are people in JAIL for a NON-VIOLENT offense (some innocent of even the supposèd offense itself) related to it being illegal. I look forward to the day of its decriminalization.

I'm a long-time devout libertarian and supporter of personal freedom and personal responsibility. I believe that the Founders penned the Declaration of Independence, the Constitution of the United States, and the Bill of Rights to ensure universal protection of all human liberties for all Americans. The federal government, comprised of statist Republicans and Democrats, want to shred every single civil and human liberty we have defended and protected for over two centuries. The War on Drugs is a violation of our civil liberties, our freedoms, and the essence of American justice and liberty.
