There are nearly one million people in jail in the United States for non-violent activities related to the use, possession, cultivation, transportation or sale of marijuana. The purpose of this site is to make available a place for everyone who supports the idea of Nojailforpot to sign his or her name, and make it proudly public for everyone to see. The people below have taken the significant step of putting their names to this important declaration, for all the country to see.

I am a member of the Native American Church. I eat peyote as a medicine, a cure for living in this crazy culture that has occupied this land for so long. I used to smoke marijuana, but I had to quit because of drug testing at work. This is a crazy, topsy-turvy, screwed-up society. They don't want people to have medicine that frees their souls & gives them a new perspective. They want wage-slaves. I am fortunate to be Native. Walk between the worlds... Everybody go native! We hold that all individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own lives, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose. - Libertarian Party Statement of Principle.

Either Legalize marijuana or prohibit Alcohol and tobacco. We all know what happened when alchohol was prohibited. Marijuana is inherently safer than either of these 2 legal drugs, yet it's illegality is ridiculous and based on pure fabrications and outright lies. Even our founding fathers grew marijuana, and the Declaration of Independence is written on hemp paper. It's time the government stopped imprisoning people for engaging in a safer activity than drinking alcohol or smoking tobacco.
